Does Genesis Concrete Concepts offer a warranty?
We provide a 2-year limited structural warranty. If the product fails to maintain functional structural integrity for its intended purpose, we will repair or replace it.

How do I care for my countertop?
We recommend using warm water and a mild dish soap, apply with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleansers or pads.

Do I have to wax or seal my countertop?
All of our products are sealed and do not require any additional sealing. Depending on which finish is chosen some concrete applications may require infrequent waxing which is easy to do. Upon installation, we will show you step by step how to care and maintain your beautiful countertop, and if waxing is required, you will receive a maintenance kit.

Can I cut on the countertop surface?
It is recommended that a cutting board be used, if not for the countertop then at least to protect your blade edge.

Are concrete countertop materials the same for both inside and outside?
Yes, concrete countertops have proven to be very resilient in both hot and cold climates.

What makes concrete countertops special?
Concrete is organic, it has a special feel to it. From the first time you see it you will be surprised that concrete can look so good. It has its place inside and outside your home or business whether modern, traditional, transitional or country. What separates it from all other surfaces is the ability to be customized, no two countertops will look the same. If you want something exclusive and unique, something that your neighbors, friends and family don't yet have, then concrete is the answer.

How much does concrete weigh, and can it be installed on my existing cabinets?
Concretes weight is comparable to other natural stone products like granite and marble, and yes we can install on your existing cabinets, and unlike some products we prefer not to use a subtop.

Are concrete countertops affordable?
Concrete products are a custom hand-crafted material and made by designaers and artisans. Options such as one-piece sinks, drainboards, inlays,custom edges, irregular or curved shapes affect the overall cost. Concrete is competitive in price with high end granite and other engineered materials.  We will work with you to give you an estimate  that will fit your budget.

I've decided on concrete, what's the process?

Step 1 - You've just completed your first step.

Step 2 - Contact us to set up a sophisticated, full service design meeting. We are prepared to listen to your inspiration, your needs and your desires. We will show you samples of colors, finishes,sealers, and edge details.

Step 3 - We will give you a written estimate that will include all the details of your project.

Step 4 - Upon design and cost approval, and receipt of the deposit, we will then make an appointment with you to template your one-of-a-kind work of art.

Step 5 - Fabricating begins with an installation date of approximately 3-6 weeks.

Step 6 - The big day has arrived: Installation and coordination followed by care and maintenance instructions. Final payment is due at this time.
